Help
Finding your way around
The Queue is home. The icons in the top bar open Instructions, Inventory, History, People, Servers, Money, and Settings. Help is in the footer.
Queue
After you sign in you land on the Queue. It lists open onboarding, change, offboarding, and return tickets. Click the Lifecycle logo at any time to come back to it.
Top bar
The icons across the top open Instructions (book), Inventory (box), History (clock), People, Servers, Money (dollar sign), and Settings (gear). You only see the icons your role allows. HR-only staff do not see Inventory, Instructions, or Servers. Shipping is a Ship button on a person's profile.
The search box in the top bar searches the page you are on, such as People, Inventory, or Instructions. On lists, you can also click a column title and type to filter that column.
Help and How Lifecycle Works
Help is in the footer of every desk page. The Help page opens with How Lifecycle Works, a short walkthrough for IT or for HR. Use Hide Lifecycle Instructions on the Help page to put the walkthrough away, and Show Lifecycle Instructions to bring it back.
Desk, portal, and website
lifecycle.lol is the public website. Your company's desk has its own address, such as lifecycle.lol/contoso-com, or the address of your own server if you run Lifecycle on-prem. The employee portal is a separate, simpler page that employees reach from email links.
